I am a self-taught artist

My name is Robert Umbrashko, I am an artist born and raised in Riga, Latvia. I am a self-taught artist who has spent my entire conscious life passionately honing my mastery of graphite in pursuit of perfection. I am combining graphite with photorealism as a tool of discipline and concentration, as well as a form of meditation - calming and systematic reproduction of the original - allowing me to endlessly hone my skills and abilities as an artist. For me, the impermanence of perfection is an every day reason to try to surpass my own achievements from the past, which allows me to find both sense of fulfilment and solace in my work.
